Welcome!

I provide speech/language therapy for students in our Amanecer Preschool programs. I work at Gilbert and Islands Elementary. I am in each classroom one day each week. I also collaborate with the preschool teachers throughout the week. I feel blessed to be a part of our preschool students' school experience and am always excited to watch them grow, learn, and change over each school year.

About Me

I am a native of Arizona. I attended Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!!), where I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in communication disorders. I am married and have 2 children. My son is 14 years old and my daughter is 12 years old. Our family loves attending sporting events, camping and traveling to the beach. Our kids also play sports during every season and I love going to their games. Over the past 15 years, I have worked in early intervention (birth – 3), preschool, and elementary school (K – 6). This is my 9th year with Gilbert Public Schools. Preschool is my favorite age group. I am passionate about the skills we address at this stage of development and our service delivery model in the preschool program here in Gilbert Public Schools. My favorite quote is “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I’m fortunate to say that is true for me! I love what I do and it never feels like work!
