Gilbert Elementary School emphasizes the core subjects of reading, math, and language arts. In addition to these core subjects, science and social studies are taught. Special classes include physical education, library, art, and music.  For students with special needs, Gilbert Elementary School offers the resource program, speech and language services, special reading program, an integrated preschool, primary and intermediate autism programs, and ELL services.
